Do I have to feed my photographer?
Usually your caterers will be used to providing a ‘photographers meal’ and it is hugely appreciated. If you are not able to provide a meal, then please let me know in advance.
Are you Insured?
Yes, fully.
Can I meet you before our wedding?
I wouldn’t have it any other way. I will always ask to meet you both at your venue if possible – it allows me to get to know you as a couple, what you like, what you don’t like, see the location, where the natural/artificial light is coming from, how much space I will have etc etc. It also stops me from being ‘escorted off the premises’ by the best man on the wedding day, because you don’t know who I am!
Do you do pre-wedding/engagement shoots?
Yes, I do. Please contact me with your requirements. The shoot will be a bit more informal than the big day, obviously (!), but no less enjoyable. It will get you used to being in front of my camera as well. You can see some pre-wedding shots on my facebook page here:
On our wedding day…will you bring another photographer with you?
I don’t use anyone else as a second photographer, unless you need me to. I find that my style of photography, detailed on the home page, allows me to capture plenty of incredible memories from the day, and it is the most cost effective for you. If i bring another photographer, there would be an additional fee, for not much more benefit.
What are your working hours on a wedding day?
You will see from my ‘piggybank’ page that I base my fee on a full day of approx 8 hours. However, I am 100% flexible when it comes to being there for your big day, so if you need me for more, or less, please just ask. I will let you know exactly how many piggybanks you will need to break!
Do you edit the shots yourself?
Yes, I do. I use an iMac with Lightroom. I use the editing process to create natural black and white shots or just enhance the image colour slightly so that it is delivered to you ready for viewing and printing. As I have taken the shot, I have a better knowledge of how I need to edit the photo.
What do you do when you are not shooting a wedding?
Well editing the shots after a wedding takes a surprisingly long time, so this usually takes up a lot of the week. After this, I will usually be working on my own personal photography projects, or any other photography work that I have been asked to do on the wildlife/corporate side of things.
Can you help with albums and other ways of displaying my images?
Yes, no problem. Just ask.
Do you do post-wedding shoots?
Yes, happily. Get the frock on again, dust off the suit. Lets have fun! Just contact me with your thoughts.
Why should we choose you as our photographer?
Unfortunately, only you have the knowledge to answer this one! Just as every wedding is different, every photographer is different. All I can say is….If you like this website, and you like the photos, then hopefully that is most of the battle. The next step is to find out if you like me and if you would like me to be there with you on your big day……the best way to do this is to call, email or ask to meet me!
